I have been asked if I could come out with a Layered Cue
Tip that would cut on the lathe and play like the Moori type
tip of the 1990's.
This came to a completely different treatment of the Pig
Skin than the UltraSkin's and different adhesives.
I do not know for sure if I accomplished this 100% but the
Tip plays very well.
When cutting on the lathe the Pig Skin comes off in strands
to the point the leather holds together with no visible
signs of layers breaking away at the strands.
Like all layered tips your cutting tool must be very sharp
to prevent over heating that could melt the adhesive causing
layer failure.
