The OB Break Cue uses Quad Lam construction, Samsara tips, and a special Compound Taper to maximize power. When combined with the OB Break Shaft you have the best combination of power and accuracy, and control.

Power

The handle of the OB Break Cue is manufactured using Quad Lam construction and a unique compound taper for the ultimate in power. The Quad Lam construction provides the strength and energy transfer needed for a powerful break. The compound taper strengthens the forearm of the cue even more to ensure that minimal energy is lost to flex.

Accuracy

Let's face it, when you break you are hitting the cue ball hard and its easy to miss the center of the cue ball by just a little. With a conventional break shaft, this causes you to hit the front ball off to the side, or miss it completely! With the OB Break Shaft, because of its low cue ball deflection, you still hit the front ball, and you hit it more square. Hitting the front ball full adds significantly to the power of your break, and it helps your cue ball control too.

Control

The OB Break Cue uses the all leather Samsara Break Tip. Leather grips the cue ball better than phenolic used on other break cues and allows you better control of the cue ball. Park it where you want it! You might think that being leather you would lose power, but not with the Samsara tip. With this tip you get the power of phenolic and the control of leather all in one. Plus, the Samsara Tip is legal in all competition!
